The Super 5 Malta Lottery is a game of chance, played in the Islands of Malta and Gozo. In this Maltese variation of the lottery game, 5 numbers are drawn randomly from a range of numbers between 1 and 42, inclusive. In order to win, players have to match at least three of the numbers drawn with three of the numbers selected on their ticket.
The super 5 draw is held every Wednesday, unless it’s a public holiday in Malta, in which case the lottery is held on a Tuesday. The draw takes place at 7:10pm local time where five random numbers are drawn. For credibility and security, the draw is made in the presence of a member of the L.G.A (the lotteries and gaming authority in Malta) as well as a notary public and random members from the Maltese public. Representatives from the Maltco Lotteries Ltd. will also be present at the draw.
